The End is Nigh

Well well well, Looks like we've reached our conclusion of assessment #1. Seems like just memories now.. these things you never forget though, like:
  • My 7 blog posts (including this one)
  • That time I changed the aesthetics of my blog by
    • Changing the fonts;
    • Adding multiple pictures which add colour to the blog;
    • Adding a header image which I designed myself to make the blog look I little bit more professional; and
    • Changing the template untill it 'just felt right'.
Or that time I commented an interesting comment on both Katrina's AND Jarrad's blog.
Or when I added all those tags and labels like Customisation, Theme, Icon, Mac, Geek, Tool, Flickr and of course Delicious.
Then of course where the times I went and did things to my blog which I thought would spice it up a little bit, by adding:

  • That damn, sexy header.
  • Links to source information and websites inside posts so that readers are constantly up to date on what I'm talking about.
  • Side bar links so that no matter where they are they can refer to those helpful websites and blogs with a swift click.
Unfortunately, this all changes now that I have thrown in the white, digital towel..
BUT WAIT! There's more memories to reminisce over!

Like when I made that delicious account. Ahh, I can remember it like yesterday (lol).
There were eight bookmarks. Eight powerful bookmarks that could fulfil anyones desires. Most of them were graphic user interface altering websites that were host to themes, mods, wallpapers, icons and stuff like that which are used to make you computer really pretty, like mine..

.but there were three that stood out amongst the crowd (of eight). Iconpaper, InterfaceLIFT, and of course GuiPulp. We will never forget.

It seems like we've run out of memories, but do not quiver or shake, my friend because there is one more chapter of this epic adventure of the mind. Last stop, Flickr.

If my memory serves me well, I remember there being an ample amount of beautiful wallpapers; Thirteen to be exact but once again, favouritism prevailed and thus left standing, the top three.

There was the Indie dude, the beautiful Golden Gate Tower and last but certainly not least, the amazing and artistic Vintage Skies.

Oh, I don't think anyone will forget that time I commented on that photo of my friend Jono! What a loser! Ha Ha! Banter!

Ahh, it seems we have come to an unfortunate end. Farewell assessment #1, fare thee well.

(421 words, hell yeah!)

Flickr + Delich

Oh my god! Flickr and Delicious links all in one post! (L33Tsticks yeah?) The concept is simple really, the Flickr link is back there, and the delicious link right there! Here!
Spicy!

Overhaul

I have recently done a massive customisation overhaul. After many hours of hard work and research I have managed to turn my system inside out and change almost everything to my desire. I changed the spacing of icons in the dock, the folder icons as well as many other program icons, the trash can icon, finder icon etc. I also managed to change the system font. This was the hardest because I had to go into the system files and change the way that Mac reads each font file. I made it so that whenever the font Lucida Grande (Mac OS X Default system font) is used, it will use Calibri instead which is a much nicer font.

I also changed the traffic lights, scroll bars and tool bar icons using Theme Park with a mixture of themes called MNML, Nuala and iOS Scroll Bars. I also managed to get a calendar integrated into me wallpaper with live date and time changes. I also changed the menu bar icons using a package downloaded from deviant art as well as an iTunes MNML mod so that it is consistent with the rest of my UI.

Here are some screenshots. Here and here!

I also changed the font on my blogspot to Calibri (Rejoice!)

Coffeeeeeeee - Dektop #3

This desktop was inspired by the dock I used. I really liked the 'coffee' colour so I set up an entire theme using a coffee-esque colour palette. Once again I have used a variation of my previous adium contact list style and changed the dock Icons using candybar. I have also used the Curl bowtie theme by Phillip Antoni.

Natures Space - Desktop #2

This is another desktop customisation I have created using another great wallpaper by kol and geek tool to change the dock. I removed the dock images from inside the core services folder and replaced them with transparent images then set a grey bar underneath the dock icons. For the icons I used the Gill Sans Icon Set from arctictransfuse and modified Adiums contact list settings to show just the names of contacts on the desktop.

Gran Plateu - Desktop #1

This is a desktop customisation I put together using the wallpaper Gran Plateu by kol. I have been able to show the time in through the clouds using Geek Tool and photoshop to create an image over the top. I have been able to change the icons in the dock and the dock itself using a program called Candybar.
